Rely on someone else

There was a time when I had to rely on a close friend for emotional support after a difficult breakup, and I felt vulnerable, not used to leaning on others. At first, it was uncomfortable to let my guard down, but as she listened and comforted me, I realized how much lighter I felt. It was humbling to accept help, and it deepened our bond in a way I hadn't expected Today we did discussion questions from chapter 13-15 there was another assignment a colloge that I haven't done yet I'll probably finish over the weekend

Item of value

I have an old, worn leather journal that my grandmother gave me before she passed away, and it holds a lifetime of her wisdom and stories. Every time I open it, I can almost hear her voice guiding me, reminding me to cherish the small moments. It's not just a journal; it's a piece of her, a connection to the past that helps me navigate my present. Today we learned a way that authors portray characterization Steal is the way we learned its a way that the author indirectly portrays a character

step out of comfort zone

There was a moment when I had to give a presentation in front of a large group at work, and I had never spoken to so many people before. My heart raced, and my hands were clammy, but I pushed through, focusing on the message rather than my nerves. By the end, I realized I had not only survived but felt empowered, knowing I could handle more than I thought. Today in class we read chapters 10-11 and wrote a letter of advice I liked the activity of advice because it made me try to empathize with the characters emotions and actions

If I were president

Prompt: If I were President of the United States, I would prioritize addressing climate change by investing in renewable energy and implementing stronger environmental protections. I would also work to improve healthcare accessibility by pushing for universal healthcare and expanding mental health services. Additionally, I would focus on reforming the education system to ensure equal access to quality education for all students, promote criminal justice reform to reduce mass incarceration, and tackle income inequality by raising the minimum wage and strengthening social safety nets. Summary: Today we read a newsela article on Jimmy carter Reflection: The article was pretty much the same as the video we watched the other day honoring president Carter. It talks about is accomplishments as a humanitarian after politics

A dream that felt real

prompt: I dreamed I was walking through a dense forest, the sunlight filtering through the trees in soft, golden beams. The air smelled like fresh pine, and I could feel the coolness of the earth beneath my feet as I moved deeper into the woods. Suddenly, I heard a voice calling my name, and when I turned, I could see my childhood pet running toward me, a feeling of warmth and peace washing over me as if everything were exactly as it should be. Summary: Today we watched a documentary about the late jimmy carter. Reflection:I find it interesting that Jimmy Carter is most remembered for his work after his presidency, especially since his time in office was marked by challenges like the Iran hostage crisis. After leaving the White House, his focus on humanitarian efforts through the Carter Center, such as eradicating diseases and promoting peace, earned him global respect, culminating in his 2002 Nobel Peace Prize.

Holiday break Summary

Summary : Over the break I stayed home most of the time but went to visit my cousins played call of duty with my friends and chilled. My favorite parts were probably Christmas and new years as these were times I spent with my family and I enjoyed them a lot.  2025 Goals : In 2025 I want to achieve many things. First off I want to achieve better grades in every class. My grades first semester were very good I got all A's and one B But if I was able to achieve this last semester I am for sure able to do better. My second goal is probably to get better at soccer.
