Origin Myth Test August 23
Today in class we spent a majority of the lesson doing a test on origin myths. The test was an analysis on an origin myth called the origin of the robin I felt like this test was pretty simple but there were a few confusing questions. Mostly the questions on the story it was probably just me not understanding the story enough but overall I think did decent on the test.
Group work Jelous father Aug 22
Today we did an activity in groups where we analyzed a native American story about a jealous dad who suspects his son of sleeping with his wife. This is an activity that will be continued tomorrow as we have to present
Jam board august 20
Today we continued the assignment from last class which was describing the origin myth that we had created last class. Today I finished the assignment and have all of the elements needed to achieve a perfect score being setting explanation, summary, main characters, theme, and visual representation of a key setting that took part in the origin myth.
Jamboard august 19th
Today in literacy class we worked on a jam board which was basically creating a visual representation of the origin myth that we created last week. On the jam board we had to just give a summary about the myth talk about the characters in the story and finally show a drawing or picture of the setting or characters.
